KeywordCountry Reviewed

Keyword Country – Reviewed

Using KeywordCountry for keyword research is far better than searching on Google or even Wordtracker. Although it is a little more expensive than Wordtracker it has some features that I think make it more valuable.

I have been using Keyword Country for three weeks now and decided to post as I think its an excellent product which is worth you having a look at.

Its very user friendly and each keyword you type in brings a huge amount of results with details like:

  • Max CPC
  • Number of Advertisers

  • Number of Clicks per month

  • Estimated EPC

  • Number of competitors

  • KEI Analysis

  • R/S Ratio

  • Number of Searches (according to Overture)

  • Traffic on Google (estimated) …and much more!

Keyword Country allows you to search for keywords in 3 different ways via Basic Search, Advanced Search, and Price Range Search. The results are actually search specific, and enable you to choose the best keywords that suit your requirements.

I experimented with the keyword – “loan,” I just typed the keyword in BASIC Search and I got 21,086 relevant keywords within a few seconds, each with key details like Max CPC, Number of Advertisers, Number of Clicks per month, Estimated EPC, Number of competitors, KEI Analysis, R/S Ratio, Number of Searches (according to Overture), and Traffic on Google.

I was really impressed by the relevancy of the keywords that I found. However, the results become a bit irrelevant as you dig deep into the list (just like in any search engine). But, I must say that the results seem to have been sorted by humans, and not by software. It is more like stealing the keyword research from a professional SEO.

I had another option of choosing high paying keywords from 206 different sub-categories for the search term "Loan". I picked - Auto loan, and Keyword Country listed 1,257 keywords for the sub-category - Auto loan.

Price Range Searching is another cool feature Keyword country boasts. This search enables you to search for the keywords within a specific price range. One of the key advantages of this kind of a search is that it supplies lots of low priced, hidden keywords that are really profitable. These are excellent for brainstorming new ideas for AdSense as well.

Above all things, it is the Advanced Searching option that makes Keyword Country a bit special. I think these guys have really thought hard! They have come up with a tool that allows you to do in-depth research for each keyword. Offering a variety of searching options just like Wild Cards of Google, Advanced Searching can sort results on the basis of Max CPC, Average CPC, Searches, Sponsors, or anything else you like.

After watching the numerous Keyword Country videos, Advanced Search starts making a lot of sense and you really get the hang of the powers of KC’s Advanced Search tool.

Sort the results by “Rating,” and KC will give you only profitable keywords. Sort the results by “Clicks per month,” and you will get the keywords that attract the most clicks for Google. Just integrate these keywords in your website, and you will increase the chances of getting more CTR. Furthermore, there are many more types of keywords that you can find out with Keyword Country. Just run through the Keyword Country videos for complete details.

Here are links to all the videos:

Another excellent feature of this software is “Blank Search.” Now, this is one feature that I have not seen anywhere else. Blank Search allows you to find the most searched keywords on the Net, most clicked keywords that exist, most high paying keywords, and most low competition high value keywords. You just leave the keyword field blank in Advanced Search, and Keyword Country will give you such amazing lists. This feature makes Keyword Country really outstanding. This is the feature I think makes it worth the price.

They claim to be a “Keyword Search Engine.” I believe they have achieved what they claim.

Keyword Country’s the Good and the Bad

The Good

  • Its not a Keyword list or keyword software, it’s a Keyword Search Engine.

  • Highly relevant keyword results that work. And all this, within a few seconds!

  • Displays everything you need to be successful with AdSense

    • Maximum CPC

    • Estimated EPC

    • Number of Sponsors

    • Number of Clicks per month

    • Profitability rankings

    • Number of competitors

    • Traffic on Overture

    • Traffic on Google (estimated)

    • KEI Analysis, R/S Ratio

  • Gives you access to:

    • Most searched keywords that exist on the Net

    • Most clicked keywords

    • Most high paying keywords

    • Most low competition high value keywords

    • Anchor texts that work

  • Equips you with three unique searching tools - Basic Search, Price Range Search, and Advanced Search.

  • Provides you with lots of Niche Keywords from 600,000 industries.

  • Provides Keyword Map that comprises of hosts of categories such as Arts, Computers, Health, Games, News, and Society. Helps you brainstorm for new topic and research out new topics for your existing website.

  • Gives you amazing niche keywords.

  • Good for adsense as well as affiliate websites.

The Bad

  • Database conks out at times, but the frequency has reduced tremendously.

  • Keyword map can be quite confusing because of its depth.

  • Does not allow any keyword additions to database.

Price Comparison

Keyword Country

Access for 1 day = $19
Access for 1 week = $35
Access for 1 month = $75
Access for 3 months= $160
Access for 1 year = $500

---------------------------

Wordtracker

Access for 1 week = $28.52 / £14.00
Access for 1 month = $57.04 / £28.00
Access for 1 year = $285.21 / £140.00
----------------------------------------

Summary

If you are not yet using a paid keyword research tool, you will at some point realise the additional benefits and resources they provide. There are many such tools available at varying prices on the internet and they are all improving over time with additional features.

Although KeywordCountry is not the cheapest in terms of price on the market, I do believe it offers a range of features not available elsewhere. These offer you a considerable edge in your niche searches to place you ahead of your competition.
For this reason KeywordCountry is the tool I now use and I highly recommend the product to you.

Looking For Content?

I have listed here what I call my library. These are a few sites I have found over time that I use for finding content, products, submitting my articles to directories or just for brainstorming.

There is a wealth of information here that will save you time searching the web.

I wont go into describing them, I encourage you to have a look. I'm sure these sites will come in handy for researching your marketing ideas.

If you decide to use any articles on your pages remember :

Don't just copy, paste and add your own name. Its illegal and you wont make any friends!

If you republish articles on your site with no changes, make sure you credit the source and authors name, and leave any live links in there too.

It is ok to use the key points of the content and republish in your own words. This is far more constructive. Adds more worth to your site, and gives you experience in article writing which can only benefit you and your readers.

As always I do not endorse any product or service on these sites unless I have reviewed them in this blog. Just use your common sense and enjoy

Keyword Suggestion Tools

To find out how many times a keyword or keyword phrase in your target market was searched on last month is easy. All you do is use the free Overture Keyword Suggestion Tool

Just enter your chosen keyword or phrase and the tool will display the number of searches for a given month. It will also provide up to 99 other related words and phrases in a descending order of popularity.

Another free tool for getting ideas for new keywords that can help you improve your ad relevance is Google AdWords Keyword Suggestion Tool

This tool supplies more specific keywords, similar keywords and additional keywords for you to consider after you've entered your keyword or keyword phrase. You can also change the search criteria to find search trends and average cost per click for those words or phrases.

There are lots of Free Keyword Research tools out there where you can find out all kinds of information regarding your niche keywords, just do a search on Google for Keyword Research.

Wordtracker is one keyword research tool I have been using a lot until recently (more on this later). Its a service you have to pay for, however there is a Free Trial on offer.

You can have a play with it here Wordtracker Free Keyword Tool. It also finds all of those keywords and keyword phrases that relate to your business, product and/or service, similar to Googles product above, but it also tends to highlight others which you might never have considered.

On the front page, if you click on "more searches" there are listed the top 30 searches performed in the last 48 hours which is handy for brainstorming about a new topic, see here wordtracker.com. You can also enter your e-mail address and you will receive a free weekly report in your mail box for the top 500 searches performed every week.

Wordtracker is a paid for service as I mentioned earlier, but I find it superior to the free keyword tools available. It all depends how serious you are and of course your budget. You can sign up for the year if you're really serious or you can do what I do.

When I'm ready to start a new campaign I will sign up for 1 week. This costs me about $28.00 or £14.00, which I think is reasonable. 1 week gives me plenty of time to find lots of valuable niche keywords which I can save and work on in my spreadsheets.

I have researched 4 separate campaigns in 1 week before on Wordtracker but it was a bit intense. Like anything in this life, you get back what you put in.

An excellent alternative to Wordtracker which I have just found is
KeywordCountry. I will let you know how I go on with this in a later post.

Make Adsense Work For You

Following my initial disappointment using Googles Adsense I am going to share with you how I have learnt to apply Adsense more successfully, and the important factors you need to know that affect how much you can earn using the Google Adsense Program.

Just to recap, Googles Adsense is the program which targets relevant Adwords to your website or blog based on the content of your site.

Now, while the Ads placed on your site by Google is an automated process there are some tactics you can use to ensure your site is supplied with more profitable Ads for you.

For example, suppose you had a site about Bird Watching. Google would probably place ads for Bird Watching Books. This makes sense, right?
But why not add some content to include the best Binoculars for Birdwatchers?

If you dedicate a page on this topic you would probably get higher value ads for Binoculars placed on your site. So, because binoculars sell for more than books, any business advertising binoculars may be willing to pay more for keywords relating to them.

The more the advertiser pays for the keyword the more your payout is. Therefore you make more money per click.

You could even extend your site by adding extra pages of content about travel and hotels in exotic locations where rich bird watchers like to take their holidays.

Furthermore you could add a review page of Holiday Insurance companies for your target audience and join their Affiliate programmes to pull in even more income. The Insurance industry is highly competitive so you can be sure they are paying top rate for their ad campaigns on the net.

Its all content related to your original topic which the search engines love, and it's likely to increase your Adsense revenue also.

More importantly you are providing real interesting content for the reader which means they are more likely to stay on your site AND more likely to click through the ads to find more information about the particular product that interests them.

Just one more thing before I finish this post. You've probably heard the phrase " Content is King"

This basically means you MUST provide real value for your reader. Many sites have next to no real content or value for the reader but lots of ads. What do you do when you land on these pages? You leave right?

So, to conclude.

Research your subject. Find some relevant content and see how you can extend on your subject. This helps to grow your site, makes it interesting for the reader and allows you the opportunity to increase your revenue.

Using Adsense To Earn A Passive Income

If you're new to Internet Marketing there are basically four popular ways to make a profit from your blog or website

  • Create and sell your own product or service

  • Promote someone else's product or service in return for a percentage of the sale price (known as Affiliate Marketing)

  • Sell text links or banner advertisements

  • Earn money from pay-per-click programs like Googles Adsense

To start myself off on the journey of Internet Marketing I chose the latter, mainly because everyone on the net was saying Googles Adsense was an easy way to make money when first starting out.

All you need to do they say is, start a web site/blog, put a bit of content on it, sign up for Adsense and paste your code into the page and that's it. Sit back and wait for the clicks. Easy.

So I did. I picked a few topics which I thought would be profitable because they were popular with other Marketers.

And I waited....... and waited...... checking my Adsense account every day, I soon became disillusioned with the whole idea.

I think I made £0.18p in my first month!

This was not as easy as I had been led to believe. I must be doing something wrong I thought.

So I scoured all the other web sites using the same topics I was to see if I could find out what they were doing different to me. I could find nothing that I could see was much different, so what was their secret?

It was during this desperate search that I came across a Blogger talking in a forum about the Profit Lance Wealth Course.

He was talking about a section in this course called the Profit Lance Niche Research Centre which he described as a tool that allows you to compile statistical information in niche markets with a view to evaluating their potential exploitation for profit.

He said it allows you to gather information from search engines, discussion groups, keyword bids, blog search engines and article directories and use the information as a whole to decide whether a niche market is worth exploiting in a monetizing sense.

He went on to explain he was using this tool to find profitable niche markets where he could apply Googles Adsense in conjunction with his Affiliate programs and was having some considerable success.

This sounded like it might be what I was looking for so I clicked the link to have a look for myself.

That was about a year ago.
I signed up for the course, $77, about £36 in English and I couldn't believe it.

This was amazing.

Bear in mind I had already spent a small fortune on various so called programs (e-books) which turned out to be next to useless. I was not expecting what I found when I logged in to the Members area.

This is NOT an e-book.

The creator of Profit Lance to my mind is a genius! And I don't say that lightly. The amount of work and dedication he must have put into this program defies belief. I have not seen anything like this on the net.

For $77 he is practically giving this away.

There is a slogan at the top of the home page which reads " A Very Thorough Introduction To The World Of Internet Marketing Lessons, Videos, Practical Tasks And On-Line Tools.

THIS IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT which is typical of the man.

He confidently walks you through every aspect of Internet Marketing, not only explaining and showing you how to do things, but explaining WHY you need to do what he's showing you.

It is a programme designed for beginners which takes you on a structured journey through to intermediate level and beyond.

This programme is MY learning tool for my journey into Internet Marketing.

If you are contemplating Internet Marketing or if you are currently operating but not at the level you desire, I strongly recommend you join this programme now. I promise you won't regret it.

Over the next few posts I will be talking about the methods I have learnt from Profit Lance and explaining how and why I apply them on my Google Adsense Adventure

Think YOU Can Make Money On The Net?

As kids we all had dreams and ambitions about what we would do when we grow up. For most of us that turned out to be all they were...just dreams.

So we left school, some were lucky enough to secure their dream , some went to university, some got regular jobs but, the one thing we all have in common is we had to continue our education to be successful in our career.

No matter what you do for a living you have had to learn how to do it.

Doctors spend seven years or so learning before they practice medicine, lawyers take around five years to qualify and other assorted trades and professions will require you to learn for three to five years to qualify.

So my question is this:

As a Newbie to Affiliate Marketing with no training. Why do You think you can make money on the net?

Is it because you've been told you can?

Don't tell me you believe all the hype you've read from the "gurus" about how easy it is to make a fortune while you sleep!

Wake up........They are selling you the dream... Or rather another useless e-book full of stuff you could find on the web for yourself

Believe me it's not easy.

It requires hard work, dedication and a desire to succeed. Just like the examples above. Do you think the doctors and lawyers etc found it easy in their professions?

No. And neither will you in your desire to become a successful Affiliate.

But.... and this is a big BUT.....If you are genuinely determined to put in the hard work required to succeed at this game, and yes it is a game, then I have access to the perfect learning ground which will steer you in the right direction, and supply you with all the tools, resources and more importantly, EDUCATION, to succeed.

What I am talking about here is NOT another useless e book. This is an On Line training resource. A live web site constantly updated in an exclusive members area where you have access to EVERYTHING you need to LEARN AND APPLY the methods of an Internet Marketer.

I am NOT waffling here. I have been using this program for a year now as a sideline to my regular job and although I am still learning I am making a modest income using just one of the modules I have focused on.

The future potential is limitless

Forget the crappy make money tonight scams. I've bought a lot of these searching for the way to make money on line. I have reviewed some of them in my earlier posts.

I could just as easily given them a decent write up, attached my affiliate link and put "click here", but I didn't!

I decided long ago during my search and eventual disappointment with these e books I would one day give my honest opinion of the so called get rich quick schemes I had bought in the hope it would save someone from making the same mistake.

I know what I just said sounds a bit cheesy but I really hate being scammed. My regular job as an Engineer Assessor for a large financial institution requires I act with honesty and integrity at all times.

I expect the same in others

I intend to run this blog for a long time. I will be revealing what I have learnt and will write posts regularly about the way I do things to make money on line using this program. A bit like a journal I suppose, so there is no way I will recommend any product/service unless I have experienced it and been satisfied with it.

Want to find out more, here it is Profit Lance

Optimize Your Adsense Ads

Google allows you to put up to three Adsense units on each page.

To optimize your Adsense ads it's a good idea to make them look as much as part of your content as possible. This is why Blogger has "Blend Template" as the default colour scheme when setting up your Adsense ads.

The problem with the "Blend Template" is it still stands out like an ad. However there is a way you can blend it even further.

Go to the Template button at the top of the screen, click, and click Edit HTML. You will see the code for the page. Now you need to scroll down until you see the line which has the Sidebar colour code.

Depending on which side of the page your Adsense ads are displayed you will be looking for the Sidebar Left or Sidebar Right colour code. The code will start with a # and have a series of letters and /or numbers. For instance my sidebar background colour is #d8e7f7.

When you've found it, write it down and return to your adsense page element tag. Type in the new code for the border and background colours and make all text colours match the rest of your post. Simple.

It's not a perfect match but its a lot closer than any of the standard colours in the Adsense setup that were available for me. Now they look as though they belong on the page.

If you're not familiar with colour codes, a handy free site is www.htmlgoodies.com where you can print off a sheet with all the colours and codes you could ever need. They have a great way of teaching HTML coding too if you feel inclined.

What Is Adsense

Goggles AdSense is probably the easiest and quickest way to generate income from a website which contains a decent amount of quality content.

You can see an example of Google AdSense in the side panel of this page. You'll see "Ads by Google" followed by boxes with a few ad lines and a url to visit if the subject is of interest to you. The ads themselves are called "Google AdWords," the term Adsense is the name of the program which allows publishers to place these ads on a web page.

Below is Googles own definition of Adsense

" Google AdSense is a fast and easy way for website publishers of all sizes to
display relevant, unobtrusive Google ads on their websites' content pages and
earn money. Because the ads are related to what your users are looking for on
your site, you'll finally have a way to both monetize and enhance your content
pages."The program is free, and combines pay-per-click and pay-per-impression
advertising - meaning you get paid for valid clicks on the ads on your site or
search results pages as well as impressions on your content pages"

When you apply Google Adsense to your web page or blog, the "spiders" crawl your page and intelligently select appropriate ads to display based on your content . The amount of revenue generated depends on the amount of click throughs you have and the price per click the publisher paid for that ad.

This is a free to use tool which is very much worth having. Depending on your niche, the cost to publishers can be quite high and, as you are paid a percentage of what they paid for the ad, you can generate a decent income if you have a reasonable amount of traffic to your site.

How To Choose A Good Affiliate Program

The amount of Affiliate programs on offer can be a bit overwhelming when you first start out. There seems to be a never ending list of topics and if you're anything like I was, you will keep changing your mind from one program to the next until you're totally confused and at a loss what to do for the best.

To make it easier for you I will supply a set of guidelines for you to follow to ensure you select the correct Affiliate program. This is not an exhaustive list but it will set the foundations on which you can build.

Things To Check When Choosing a Program To Promote

1. Demand - There must be a demand for the product the merchant is offering. There is no point trying to promote a product no-one wants. You can check the demand by visiting the Google Keyword tool. Here you can find a wealth of information such as how many searches were made for your particular niche keywords in the previous month along with the cost per click advertisers are paying for the keywords related to the product you want to offer. This is a great tool for identifying high commission paying Adsense ads which you can position on your page. More on this in a later post.

2. Commission Rate - The higher the commission rate the better. If you're promoting a low value item you will have to make a lot of sales to earn a decent amount and this can be as difficult as promoting a higher value item. You need commissions of around 50% to %60 if you're promoting digital goods, for instance e-books. On the other hand higher value items with a commission rate of 20% to 45% would suffice.

3. Customer Support - Your Affiliate program must supply good customer support. Most good Affiliate programs have an Affiliate Manager who you can contact with regard to any problems, issues or information you need.

4. Convincing Sales Copy - The sales letter must be convincing enough to get people to buy the product. Examine the sales letter as you would if you were the customer and ask yourself if you would buy the product if you visited the page. Are there any testimonials from satisfied customers giving the product a glowing report. This will make the product easier to sell and so boost your conversion rate

5. Money Back Guarantee - No excuses here. The product should have a money-back guarantee. If the product owner doesn't offer one then you'd better find something different to promote.

6. Contact Details - A physical address and contact information should be visible on the site

7. Statistics - The affiliate program must supply real-time statistics to enable you gauge how many visits to the site you are converting into sales

I hope this post has been of some use to you. To find out more on ALL aspects of Affiliate marketing I invite you to visit my Number One choice review.

It blows the competition out of the water.

I Personally Guarantee you will not find a better learning resource for Affiliates.

Thanks

Tips for new Affiliates

Affiliate marketing is one of the quickest, and easiest ways of making money online.
As an affiliate marketer, you don't have to create a product because you will be selling other peoples.

You don't have to carry any stock or pay for storage space, you don't need to accept payments for goods and services and you don't have to create any fantastic sales pages.

In fact, most of the hard work has already been done for you.
As an Affiliate Marketer all you have to do is drive traffic to your chosen affiliate program.

Before you head off on your search for the end of the rainbow here are some tips to prevent you wasting time, money and effort

A common mistake made by many people when they first start is to rush out and sign up for a boat load of Affiliate programs and load a single web page with all of their products ads, banners and links etc for all types of different products without any content on the page.

This is crazy and probably the number one reason people give up Affiliate Marketing. Think about it. Would YOU pay attention to a page stuffed with ads and nothing else?
No me neither. This kind of site will not attract visitors and those that stumble across your site will quickly leave.

Although its easy to get started, don't fall into the trap of signing up for loads of Affiliate programs and try to promote them all in the early stages. All you will do is waste your time and you will not do a good job of promoting any of them. The result will be few or no sales at all.

Its far better to start off with one or two quality products, preferably ones you have used, read or know about, and concentrate your efforts on those. Once you have a decent return then you can think about adding others, one at a time. The important thing is to stay focused and concentrate your efforts in one or two areas at a time.

Some advice for finding a product to promote.

Think about an area that interests YOU. Research a product in that niche which you can promote as an Affiliate. You will find it easier and have far more enthusiasm to promote a product that interests you to start with. Yes it is possible to promote anything but, you will find it far easier to write about a subject you have a passion for.

Money Making Products To Avoid

DATA ENTRY AND PAID SURVEYS

There is a good reason why I list these two programs first. Newbies fall for these two programs quicker than throwing their money away on get rich quick e-books

How do I know this?

Because I fell for this crap when I started out!

When they say "Data Entry" they don't really mean data entry, they are talking about Google Adwords. What you are actually doing is marketing products on Google Adwords, they have clever sales pitches that trap the unwary

Although "Paid Surveys" can't really be described as a scam, They are misleading which in my book is a scam. There are hardly any survey programs that pay you. They just waste your time. You MIGHT be rewarded with gifts or giveaways, that's if you manage to actually fit the criteria and finally complete one of these surveys.
If you don't believe me then go ahead and try some. I bet you don't even make enough to cover the cost of joining the damn things.

Project Black Mask

One word. Junk. This book mainly promotes the use of automated content generators that create thousands of pages. The book is actually teaching you to spam the search engines. Not a good idea if you want to create a long term sustainable income. If you get caught your sites will be closed down.
Very disappointed with this book. Save your $77 and invest in a program that teaches you the correct methods of Internet marketing.

Ultimate Wealth Package

This program is typical of most of the crappy get rich quick stuff on Clickbank. Free goodies. A Free website worth $1097. Crap. Its not worth $10.
Here's what he wants you to do. Promote HIS product on the bargain website he has given you..... Oh, by the way you will have to provide your own hosting (which he will make a commission from every month it's running), at your cost of course. And he is kind enough to put Google Adsense on there for you so when someone clicks on the ad you....... no sorry, not you... HE makes profit from that too..... How good is this?
Don't be a mug. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

Duvet Dollars

This product is fairly new to the market. The sales letter is good, as most of them are but the actual content is a re-hash of all the other books on the market.

It doesn't go into detail about marketing, except some on Adwords nor does it show you HOW to do anything. Its just the Same old Same old with no real new content.

Another product for the bin. NOT recommended.

My advice for what it's worth is, if you really want to succeed in this business you need a good quality product, with effective tutorials, on going learning information, and tools and resources which are supplied for you. But more importantly you need to be SHOWN how to use this knowledge and equipment.

I just love the sales pages of these "Guru's! I've just bought another product to review. Its called,

GooglesBlackBook.

167 PAGES no less but its going to take a bit to read it all as the author has protected the PDF file to prevent it from being printed!

This product comes with some decent freebies;

1 Article Submitter
2. The Sales letter creator
3. Adsense Revenue Exposed
4. Instant Video Suite
5. Web Audio Plus

However, I bought this product as a new Affiliate would, NOT for the freebies but expecting the Author to Show me How to replicate his efforts in the marketing game.

Yet again I was disappointed. There is no in depth detail about anything. The author just gives an outline of what an Affiliate should do without showing any examples of HOW to do it.

After spending $77 the Author skims over Google Adwords and then tells me to go find more information on Googles Help pages. I might just as well have blown $77 on Adwords and learned from the experience.

Non of the above products compare to the number one on my review site. I know because I use it. I'm starting to realise what a remarkable man Michael Andrews really is!

Thanks
Johnathan
